Michael Chamberlain is dead.
The question is ‘Who should be indicted, tried and punished in the usual way or in a more proper way?’ Justice has not yet been served in the NT Government case (sometimes referred to as the Azaria Chamberlin case). How many Queensland legal practitioners involved themselves unnecessarily in the NT Government case? How many MSM staff/owners did not involve themselves of appropriate professional necessity in the NT Government case? My point is that Michael died with a homily about getting matters put right against the odds. Yet he has not brought to me any closure. He left me in fear almost as great as the terrorising of former PM Billy McMahon in the late 60s. Some people involved have retired to a comfortable life while the rest of us tremble every day in fear of the legacy of violence unstanched still to this day. I believe Michael died semi-incoherent. What shame should every law officer/government official who just ‘did their job’ and no more when they see the polished but destroyed man on the screen in an obituary. If no proper dealing is done and players die peacefully in their sleep will not more evil men be emboldened to misuse their office or betray the public trust.
